Hi everyone! Last weekend Ryan and I cooked up a fun Mickey-themed brunch for Valentine’s Day.
Breakfast food is my favorite which is funny because I rarely eat breakfast.
I thought it would be fun to show an alternative to a Valentine’s Day dinner. You could do a fun brunch like this for your significant other, your little ones, or friends! :)
Of course the star of the show were the Mickey waffles. I recently purchased this Mickey Waffle maker from Box Lunch and I love it! There are a few different Mickey waffle makers out there, but I felt like these are the closest to the Mickey waffles you can get on Disney property. A nice feature about this waffle maker is that you can cook 6 waffles at the same time: 3 at the top and 3 at the bottom.
We made waffles with regular batter, but also made some with pink and red food coloring.
I found cute napkins and heart shaped plates at Target. This was a super cute and inexpensive way to jazz up our simple table setting.
We also made heart and Mickey shaped puff pastries and topped those off with cream cheese, strawberry jam and sliced strawberries. Super simple and delicious!
